This completely portable, industrial-duty, rechargeable lantern provides super-bright light that can be aimed in any direction. The power failure system features AC and DC chargers and smart power failure circuitry that automatically goes on when power goes off. Built to Last
Designed for durability, the LiteBox features a high-impact ABS thermoplastic housing with rubberized impact bumper, lens ring, and cushioned-grip handle.
Weighing 7.4-pounds with the battery (included in purchase), the LiteBox has a length of 11.5-inches, is 5.1-inches wide, and is 7-inches in height.
Bright and Powerful
The Streamlight LiteBox features a zero-maintenance 6-volt, 12-amp hour sealed lead acid battery that is rechargeable up to 500 times. Red and green LEDs give charge status feedback.
Streamlight’s LiteBox features a high-intensity halogen bi-pin bulb with an 8-watt flood light with 1,500 peak beam candlepower and 150 lumens. It has a continuous run time of up to 9-hours and is now brighter than ever with an innovative new bulb configuration.
The LiteBox Power Failure system has a number of features that make it a great emergency-lighting solution. Its "smart" power-failure circuitry turns the lamp on automatically when the power goes out, giving you instant illumination and eliminating the need to stumble through the dark to find your emergency light. The lamp nests in a mounting rack, so you always know where it is, and the neck swivels down to provide horizontal illumination when mounted on a vertical surface.
When fully charged, the batteries provide up to nine hours of run time. For further reliability, the dual-filament Xenon bulb features instant backup beam if one of the filaments burns out. LED indicators tell you when the lamp is fully charged.
The system is well-constructed out of high-impact thermoplastic housing. The cushioned grip handle makes for comfortable use, though at seven pounds, it's a bit on the heavy side.
